companies boasting iconic radio brands such as Today and Triple M. Our Traffic team in Sydney wants to build a TALENT
BANK of potential Commercial Schedulers with a view of filling upcoming
roles in the not too distant future. We’re not just looking for people with prior
experience in media scheduling. These roles would also suit individuals
who’re currently working in a business support capacity or as
Administrators/Coordinators of some description. So what do Commercial Schedulers do? Well, the next
time you’re listening to an ad on radio, keep in mind that its exact
placement is having a big impact on its overall effectiveness. As a
Commercial Scheduler at Austereo, you’ll work closely with Traffic
Managers and Sales staff to schedule commercials for both the Today and
Triple M networks, making sure they go to air correctly and on time,
thereby maximising the results of our treasured
clients. Energy and enthusiasm, a positive attitude, a solid
work ethic and superb attention to detail are some of the things we’re
looking for in YOU. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is
essential. Along with the rest of the team, you’ll also be willing to put
in extra hours during peak periods, which includes Friday nights.
