DMG Radio Australia is one of Australia’s
fastest growing media and digital companies and we are looking for a
motivated, innovative and results driven National Online Content Manager
to fill a permanent national position based in Melbourne, reporting
directly to the Digital Director and working closely with the Group
Programming Director.
This exciting role involves the management of national
content resources including both video and audio resources,
editorial guidance, and the ability to take concepts from idea to
reality. This includes
the ongoing development, integration and execution of the
content strategy relative to both the editorial direction and key
requirements for publishing online. You will also keenly pursue new
opportunities for growth in audiences for DMG in the digital media space
to further develop the on-line platform as a channel to engage with the
radio audience.
You will be working closely with the respective
national and market based radio programming teams in ensuring “best
practice” content management to provide online audience growth. You will also be responsible for
ensuring such content strategies and implementation delivers the
required DMG commercial outcomes.

- Management of the online content editorial team via quality
and quantity metrics
- Passion for cultural trends and ability to leverage
these content trends effectively online
- Ability to place content in a mode which will engage users
to participate
- Ability to conceive and drive content which bridges the gap
between radio and online
- Time management in a high pressure
environment
- Ability to manage a team and work between
varying and multiple functions
- Ability to work efficiently with other team
members and influence their outcomes
- Knowledge of web technologies which influence
how content is sourced by third party
technologies
- Applicable text editing and photo management
software skills
Important
Experiences:
You will be expected to have previous experience
with the following key abilities:
- Online feature and editorial creation and
management
- Content editorial strategy development
- Familiarity with measurement regimes and
ability to act on data and trends
- Experience guiding editorial style of multiple
online publications simultaneously
