News Director/Breakfast Co-Host

Fairfax Media is the largest integrated media company in Australia. Our multi award winning radio station in the Riverland of SA is seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic News Director to join the team. Based at our Berri Radio Centre, you will enjoy working within a close knit team who has energy to burn.

You will be involved in grass roots journalism, focusing on local News bulletins covering a range of issues including community news, sport, events, information & entertainment.

You’ll also need to be switched on to what keeps listeners entertained in the morning as you will play an integral part of Magic’s Morning After Crew, so good general knowledge and exceptional recall is required.

Ideally, the successful applicant will have an ability to seize opportunities, including the ability to build strong networks. You will be committed to delivering a high quality product and will understand the importance of meeting your daily and weekly deadlines. You will have a positive attitude, be adaptable, flexible, a team player and hungry to advance your radio career, possibly to one of our metropolitan stations.

This role would suit an outgoing, positive individual who enjoys diversity, and working in a fast paced and vibrant organisation.
