The Central Coast Radio Centre is seeking a Creative Writer to join the team at Sea FM 101.3 and 2GO 107.7

 

We are looking for a person who:

 

• Consistently meets all reasonable deadlines (in general scripts written within 48 hours) and is able to work under pressure.
• A vibrant and positive attitude.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist with various projects.
• Intermediate to Advanced Skill set for all Microsoft Applications
• Practice excellent time management skills

Your key responsibilities will be:

 

§  Write/edit/process local scripts (and national as required)as briefed by assigned Account Managers Adhering to correction duration (no more than 75-85 words per 30 sec script)

§  Ensuring that scripts are relevant to stations demographics, relate to the target audience in an entertaining, interesting or emotive way.

§  Ensure all scripts conform to accepted advertising industry regulations, codes and standards as adopted by the Media Council of Australia, The commercial Radio Industry and any voluntary codes adopted from time to time by the radio industry employer

• Write promotional/programming material in conjunction with Program Director and Promotions Manager if and when required.
• Undertake voice over work if and when required.

§  Direct voice talent/production in order to achieve best possible product.

§  Liaise with clients regarding script approval as required.

 

§  Liaise daily with account managers.
