WEEKEND WARRIORS!

Australian Independent Radio News is again looking to fill some roster holes, and we need people with a serious passion for News or Sport to get involved.

One drawback - it's voluntary.
That said, it is an opportunity to develop a profile on air with a near national audience developing your skills as a news presenter or sports presenter along the way.
The other great advantage is that, given the right conditions, you can operate from your home studio, meaning you can present from anywhere in the world that:
1/ Has Broadband
2/ Has the right audio recording software (Cool Edit Pro or Adobe Audition - Audacity is OK)
3/ Has a decent broadcast quality microphone attached through a pre-amp or mixer.

You need:
1/ To want to develop your skills
2/ To have the basic talent
3/ To be over 18 - Sorry we do need people that can be responsible.
4/ To want to get into the radio industry (4 of our people have moved on to Commercial Radio already), or maybe to pop a toe back in the metaphorical water.

Vacancies:
Sat 0700-1000, 1100-1300, 1400-1700
Sun 1100-1300, 1400-1700
