AFTRS RADIO APPOINTMENT

 

The Australian Film, Television and Radio School is delighted to welcome Fyona Smith to our team as Senior Radio Lecturer.

Fyona comes to AFTRS with a wealth of experience from Southern Cross Austereo, as Triple M Localworks Network Music Director, Presenter of Triple M Localworks ‘School of Rock’ national radio show and host of Southern Cross Television’s Australian music TV show - “School of Rock Ozmade”.

Over summer Fyona has been also working with the Australian Traffic Network  covering Sydney’s traffic on radio & CH10.

AFTRS Director of Radio, Mark Collier, says “Fyona is a strong addition to our team, with a wealth of contemporary, commercial industry experience. Her broadcasting and cross-platform skills and energy will add further to the strength of our radio courses in 2012”.

100% of graduates of both AFTRS Broadcasting award courses of 2011 are employed in the commercial and public broadcasting sectors.
