It debuted on Australian television in 1981. 13. GEORGE FOREMAN, aged 45, became the oldest ever heavy weight champion of the world with a knockout win over Michael Moorer in their IBF/WBA contest. 14. WET WET WET’s single Love Is All Around became the biggest selling pop single of the decade in Britain. It spent 15 weeks at No 1.15. TONI COLLETTE won the Best Actress award for her role as Muriel in Muriel’s Wedding and co-star RACHEL GRIFFITHS was named Best Supporting Actress. 20. MIDDAY program hosted by DERRYN HINCH went to air for the final time.
