18. BARBARA CARTLAND finished her 600th book to coincide with her 93rd birthday.19. MURIEL’S WEDDING won the AFI Award for Best Australian Film. TONI COLLETTE won the Best Actress award for her role as Muriel in Muriel’s Wedding and co-star RACHEL GRIFFITHS was named Best Supporting Actress.
